
My Story
Georgetta Gancarz is a professional artist, professor, author, filmmaker, and the CEO of ART - POLI Painting on Location International, ART – POLI Paints, and Color Wheel Press. She has paintings in museums, galleries, cathedrals, public, and private collections worldwide. She has been teaching for over 35 years globally and specializes in painting, printmaking, art history, marketing, and publishing arts.

Her books are in libraries in Europe and throughout America. She is a graduate of Fordham University and The School of Visual Arts and received her certification in Poland for stained glass. Georgetta has eight years of postgraduate studies in Florence, Italy, in fine arts and curriculum design and has also served on numerous residencies and received certificates and art awards, including in leadership, teaching, business arts, and global studies. Georgetta has currently written 29 art books, and her latest award-winning film, “ZiÄ™kujÄ™. A Letter to Józef Gancarz” is in the archives of Miejsce pamiÄ™ci I Muzeum, in OÅ›wiÄ™cim, Poland.
She is represented by the Saatchi Gallery. Other collections are in the Muse / Foundation and museums in NYC. Her Renaissance-style paintings are in the collection of basilicas in Italy and St. James Cathedral in Seattle.

Georgetta dedicates her life to her students, helping them to become professional working artists.
In 2018, she developed a book writing program to encourage students to write and create books in multiple languages. Through her art classes and instruction, many have become gallery artists, published authors, and art business owners. Her academy and program, ART - POLI has provided free art instruction and tours on six continents for over 28 years.
Georgetta's passions include teaching, painting, writing, volunteering, and her charity, Artist for Breast Cancer. She has volunteered all over the world, including libraries, facilitated art workshops, and implemented art programs for children affected by war. She also worked with the NW Parkinson's Association and hospitals, offering programs in creative expression. She tells her students education, passion, and hard work are the keys to success.
