Georgetta Gancarz graduated from the School of Visual Arts and Fordham University with degrees in science, education and Fine Arts. She also minored in Art Therapy and received various artist and instructor awards and scholarships. She is a professional artist, professor, author and international travel guide.

She has been teaching painting for over thirty-five years and is the CEO and founder of the ART - POLI Painting On Location International® program, with studio classes in Painting, Drawing, Art History, Printmaking, Hand Block Printing, Sculpture, Restoration, Architecture, Industrial Design, Photography, Glassblowing, Exhibiting and Marketing Art, Art Therapy, Literature, Creative Writing, Language, Philosophy, Music, Fashion, Film, Theater, Jewelry, Herbology, Religion, Yoga and Meditation, Culinary, Oenology, Leather and Wood Crafting, Mask Making, Textiles, Ceramics, Mehndi, and Perfume Design.

Working on her charity art show "Artist For Breast Cancer", she continues to educate the public on awareness and prevention. Georgetta spends a lot of her time volunteering, teaching and promoting artists. She currently teaches art at Seattle Central College and Western Europe. Her paintings have been exhibited worldwide and at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
She is internationally represented by the Saatchi Gallery. Other collections are in the Muse/ Foundation and Museums in NYC. Her works are on file at The Women Museum of Arts, Washington, DC. Her Renaissance style paintings are in collection of Basilicas in Florence and Venice, Italy and St. James Cathedral in Seattle.

For fourteen years she has served on the Executive Committee Board of Directors for instructors at the EC University of Washington. Her picture is on the cover of Alberto Manguel’s, 2002 International best seller, "Reading Pictures: What We Think About When We Look at Art".
To date, Georgetta is writing and illustrating her 21st book. She just released her own 2014 line of ART - POLI acrylic and watercolor paints.
In 2018, Georgetta developed her own imprint and publishing program to encourage students to write and create books in multiple languages.

Georgetta loves teaching and enjoys seeing her student’s progress all over the world. She tells her students, education, passion and hard work are the keys to success.
