APARTMENTS 


1. Apartments are in the center of the city.


2. They are furnished with bedrooms, a full kitchen, living room. and a bathroom.

    Kitchens include a stove, microwave, sink, all utensils, dishes, coffee maker, and a large table.


3. Participants can share a bedroom with twin beds. Each participant has a separate bed.

    Most participants request their room. A single room can be provided for a small extra fee.


  *Single women and men are in different apartments unless requested. Couples can share a room.

  *Couples can request a separate apartment or room at an extra discounted fee. 


4. Bedrooms include two large closets suitable for two people to share.


5. Bedding is provided but not towels. Bedrooms have lamps, nightstands, and sockets. 


6. Gas and Electric, air conditioning, and heat are included.

 

7. All apartments come with a washing machine, dish liquid, hand soap, and toilet tissue.


8. The internet, a map of your neighborhood, food market tours, and cooking classes are provided. 


9. Apartment must be reserved two months in advance so a balance must be paid in full, before arriving.


10. All apartments are non-smoking. You may smoke outside or on the balcony if your apartment has one.


11. Strangers you meet are not allowed in the apartments by leasing law.

 

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

The apartment contract is between the participant and the landlord, not ART - POLI.

Fees are paid to the apartment organization.


Once an apartment is reserved and paid for money will not be refunded.

ART - POLI bases its residency fees as a group and receives a group discount.
If a participant cancels, they will be responsible for rental fees for the apartment, so artists should think carefully about seriously wanting to travel abroad. Participants can purchase inexpensive travel insurance on their own. This type of insurance helps with fees for cancellations.

 

ART - POLI, your instructors, and landlords are not responsible for fees occurred from cancellations.

Participants must sign a lease for their apartments agreeing to the rental laws of the country.

 

NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION


Each participant must have a valid passport with (an expiration date six months after the return travel date), and or a recent travel visa.
Participants must not have a criminal record and be allowed to travel.
Passport and visa fees are not included in ART - POLI fees.
Upon acceptance to the residency, each participant will be given important information on the law, housing, and fun-free activities in their area.

A map and pamphlet about your apartment, food, supermarkets, restaurants, internet, and cell phone rental will be included with your acceptance documents.
