ART - POLI Academy invites students and artists to study in India and Africa (Egypt) with classes in painting, drawing, art history, photography, hand block printing, yoga and meditation, health and science, herbology, and creative writing.​

MISSION
ART - POLI mission is to foster artistic development that enhances creativity, cognitive thinking and innovative ideas in an inspiring environment that stimulates intelligent dialogue and freedom of artistic expression.
ABOUT ART - POLI®
ART - POLI is an educational travel program, residency and academy, created by professor Georgetta Gancarz.

ART - POLI supports, nurtures and exposes the serious emerging, mid-career or advanced visual artist to a creative cross-cultural experience in the Fine Arts and Humanities, studying on location in Europe, USA, South America, Canada, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
ART - POLI provides long and short-term residencies, degree programs, affordable studio classes, critiques, work space, exhibitions and an array of professional educational developmental services, as well as international exposure, networking and engaging in global understanding.

ART- POLI invites artists of all levels to spend two weeks in India and Egypt painting and drawing on location.
Residency will include art history and a local understanding of the region by tours and engaging in activities of the area. These include sketching in museums, temples, the marketplace, and the countryside.
​
ART - POLI works with colleges and universities to deliver affordable educational travel experiences to students. No fees are collected by ART - POLI. Schools charge and collect their tuition. Airfare and accommodation are paid directly to the arranged airline and housing.
​
ART - POLI offers travel discounts, excursions, grants, scholarship information, and a full immersive travel experience. All trips, including tuition, accommodation, airfare, and expeditions are under 3,000 dollars round trip from your home city. Some locations are less expensive.

OPTIONAL COLLEGE CREDIT
​
ART - POLI offers credit, certificate and non-credit courses.
Undergraduate and graduate degree programs are available, leading to an AA, BFA, and MFA through some of our sponsoring colleges.
​
ART- POLI is open to students studying on the college level.
​
ART - POLI also offers college credit to High School students over the age of sixteen.
​
ART - POLI Programs exists in over 20 countries, in 50 disciplines. 300 courses available.
​
Five to fifteen credits are available depending on your course of study.
​
Classes are available in painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, hand block printing, sculpture, glassblowing, bookbinding, papermaking, architecture, jewelry, graphic design, art history, art therapy, creative writing, literature, poetry, language, philosophy, fashion, music, film, theater, dance, culinary, oenology studies, leather crafting, mask making, textiles, ceramics, perfume design, herbology, religion and yoga and meditation.
Financial aid is available and usually covers the course fee for credits only. This does not include airfare or lodging. ART - POLI accepts a variety of grants and scholarships from professional organizations or donors sponsoring artists. Scholarships or grants must be made directly to students, not ART – POLI. Students must use scholarships or awards for housing. Students pay housing fees directly to landlord and registration fees to sponsoring college.

Instructors in the program are professors in the Arts and Humanities with specializations in Painting, Drawing, Art History, Art Therapy, Printmaking, Hand Block Printing, Sculpture, Photography, Glassblowing, Exhibiting and Marketing Art, Literature, Creative Writing, Language, Philosophy, Music, Fashion, Film, Theater, Jewelry, Herbology, Religion, Yoga and Meditation, Culinary and Oenology studies. Courses also offered in Leather and Wood Crafting, Mask Making, Textiles, Ceramics, Mehndi, and Perfume Design. The combination of these subjects bring a broader understanding of art and an expansive network of ideas and reason.
